It was all about the COSTUME for me...even though the candy was a big deal...it was the getting dressed up and being the center of attention that made my little candy grabbing heart sing!

When I sense myself slipping into a "mode" call it what you will...my pain-body, my big ego, my shadow, pick a name...I mentally STOP and consciouslly acknowldge what I am doing and try to divert the path. Does it always work...of course not, I am human! Does it work enough of the time to where I feel good about this little method...ahhhh, yes, it does. Yesterday my husband and I had a great exchange of differing opinions and he did not end of shouting and I did not end up crying or shutting down. It was wonderful.

I like to wake up when I want to...when my eyes open and I am really and thrilled to start my day. No clock, no curtains thrown open by an early rising husband, just to wake up when I wake up...ahhhhhhhh.

I usually just honor their feelings and site with them and hold the energy of love, support and acceptance for their state. They key is not to negate or belittle their sadness, but to understand and honor where they are...

Plugging along...I smile as I know that a spiritual path is a path we will always be on...you do not travel along and then one day go, "Cool, I am enlightened, my work is done!" and then sit back and watch everyone else muddling along. Even true Masters like Eckhart Tolle reach a level of enlightenment and then know they must teach and share what they have learned...so the path continues!

Who is the youngest person you know?

I have a friend who will be having her 4th boy in 5 days...so, he is my youngest friend. Not sure what his name willbe...I voted, but my vote may have been over-ridden by his father! This picture is one of his older brothers....
